Spanning an extraordinary 30 feet by 40 feet, this is officially Asia’s largest live 3D terrain model. More than just a physical representation, this model includes a fully functional waterflow system, built to simulate the actual operation of the Polavaram Dam and its vast canal network.

This project was designed not merely to impress, but to educate, demonstrate, and simulate. Built with precision using GIS-based topographic data, the model includes:

• A real-time, operational water circulation system with accurate flow behavior

• Functional canals, reservoirs, and spillways

• Contour-accurate terrain modeling based on satellite mapping

Building a project of this magnitude was never going to be simple. It demanded not only technical skill, but absolute dedication. The challenges we faced included:

• Engineering water flow with zero leakage tolerance

• Synchronizing terrain levels across a vast 1,200 sq. ft. model base

• Managing custom plumbing and electrical components within a scaled framework

• Maintaining long-term durability under continuous demonstration use

Over a period of four months, our team of over 15 specialized professionals—model makers, CAD technicians, hydrology consultants, and structural designers—worked tirelessly. Delays, setbacks, and structural revisions were part of the journey, but giving up was never an option.
